The Contest opens Wednesday August 31, 2011 at 12:01AM EST
and runs until Saturday March 31, 2012 at 11:59PM EST.

1. ELIGIBILITY

1.1 Pursue the Dream with COLD-FX^® (the “Contest”) is open to all Canadian residents excluding residents of the province of Quebec. To be eligible to enter you must be of the age of majority in the province or territory of residence at the time of entry in the Contest. Directors, officers and employees of AFEXA LIFE SCIENCES INC. (“Sponsor”) and their affiliates, and agencies and their immediate family (father/mother, brother/sister, son/daughter or persons living under the same roof with them) are not eligible to enter this Contest.

1.2 Participation in the Contest constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Contest Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Contest.  Winning the prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

2. HOW TO ENTER
2.1 NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  
2.2 To enter the contest, users must visit http://www.pursuethedream.ca from Wednesday August 31, 2011 to Saturday March 31, 2012 at 11:59PM EST to enter for a chance to win. Entrants must complete, in full, the official online entry form, including full name, address including province and postal code, daytime telephone number and e-mail address. In addition to completing the online entry form, entrants must also either be fans of COLD-FX on Facebook by clicking on the “Like” button, or they can fill in the “Share your Life Dream” portion of the online entry form (the “Submission”). To be eligible, entries must be received no later than 11:59PM on Saturday March 31, 2012.

2.3 One (1) Entry per contestant.

2.4 Submission Guidelines:

• The Submission must be in English;
• The Submission must not exceed six hundred (200) characters in length;
• The Submission cannot have been submitted previously in a promotion of any kind or exhibited or displayed publicly through any means.

2.5 Submission Content Restrictions:

• The Submission  must not contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights or that constitutes copyright infringement;
• The Submission must not disparage Sponsor or any other person or party affiliated with the promotion and administration of the Contest;
• The Submission must not feature brand names or trademarks;
• The Submission must not contain text not created by entrant;
• The Submission must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortuous, defamatory, slanderous or libellous;
• The Submission must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and
• The Submission must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any province where Submission is created.

2.6 Entrant must have permission from all individuals that appear in the Submission (if any) to use their name and likeness in the Submission and to grant the rights set forth herein.  If requested, entrant must be able to provide such permissions in a form acceptable to the Sponsor.

2.7 If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. Selected entrants may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).

2.8 Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, garbled, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or entries that are processed late or incorrectly, or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction, or other error.  The use of computer programs and other automatic means to submit multiple entries is prohibited.

2.9 Entry forms and Submissions become the property of the Sponsor. No correspondence will be entered into except with entries selected as potential winners.

3. PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING PRIZES

3.1 On or about Monday April 2, 2012 at approximately 10AM EST in Toronto, Ontario, one potential winner will be selected by a random draw among all eligible entries for one (1) Pursue the Dream with COLD-FXvacation prize.

3.2 To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must meet all eligibility criteria, have correctly answered, unaided, a time limited, mathematical skill testing question, and must complete and return to Sponsor a signed Declaration and Release within the time period indicated in the documents.Entrants are only eligible to win one (1) prize.

3.3 Attempts will be made by Sponsor to contact the selected entrant by telephone and/or e-mail for a period of two (2) days from the first attempt of contact. If any selected entrant cannot be contacted within the two (2) day period or if contacted, does not confirm arrangements for his/her prize with Sponsor, or fails to meet all of the contest conditions to be declared a winner, by no later than two (2) days after being contacted, he/she shall be disqualified and Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to randomly select another eligible entrant as the winner, in the same manner. 

3.4 The odds of winning a prize are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received.

4. DESCRIPTION OF PRIZE

4.1 There will be one (1) grand prize awarded. The approximate retail value of the grand prize is eighteen thousand Canadian dollars ($18,000). The trip is to be taken from August 1, 2012 to August 4, 2012.

4.2 The Grand Prize winner will receive a trip for two (2) to London, United Kingdom. The prize includes: $3,000 CAD cheque which can be used for the purchase of transportation to London, England , four (4) days / three (3) nights hotel accommodation for double occupancy, and two (2) tickets to attend four (4) Sponsor preselected events at the London 2012 Olympic Games.  The winner is responsible for any additional spending money required.  The cheque will be in the winner’s name and is non-transferrable. Details on the hotel, events and other Grand Prize package facts will be emailed to the winner as they become available.

4.3 Once registration has been completed, no changes are permitted.

5. GENERAL RULES

5.1 By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to consent to give the Sponsor and their respective advertising and promotional agencies a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, create derivative works from, and display the entrant’s name and/or likeness (including without limitation his/her photograph), and/or his/her voice and statements regarding the contest, and their submission(s) in whole or in part, on a worldwide basis, and to incorporate it into other works for any advertising or promotional purposes, in any form, media or technology whatsoever, including without limitation, on any website operated by the Sponsor without payment of any kind to the entrant. If requested, entrant will sign any documentation that may be required for Sponsor or its designees to make use of the non-exclusive rights entrant is granting to use the Submission. The entrant waives any right to inspect or approve such use.

5.2 Each winner shall sign a document attesting to his/her eligibility as stipulated in these rules and releasing Sponsor,its affiliates, as well as its respective directors, officers and employees, from all liability for any damage or loss arising from participation in this Contest or from the awarding, acceptance or use of the prize.

5.3 The prize shall be accepted as is and may not be exchanged for an amount of money, nor sold nor transferred. Except for the cash component of the Grand Prize, no cash alternatives, substitutions, divisions, or transfers of the Grand Prize will be allowed, and the Grand Prize winner shall not be entitled to convert the Grand Prize into cash.

5.4 If the prize cannot be awarded as described in these rules, Sponsor,its affiliates, as well as its respective directors, officers and employees, reserve the right to substitute a prize or prize component with another of comparable value.

5.5 Refusal to accept the prize releases Sponsor, its affiliates, as well as its respective directors, officers and employees, of any responsibility and obligation toward the winner.

5.6 Sponsor and its affiliates, and agencies and its respective officers, directors, employees, agents or representatives shall assume no liability resulting from: (i) losses, delays, typographical errors, poor technical or phone operations,loss or stealing of data-processing, breach of software or computer equipment, losses of communication facilities, text messages or e-mails or fraudulent entries; (ii) any failure of the Pursue the Dream with COLD-FX broadcasts or contest website during the contest period; (iii) any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software; (iv) failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof; (v) any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer or cell phone related to or resulting from participating or attempting to participate, in the contest.

5.7 Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to amend, suspend or terminate this Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor corrupt or adversely affect the administration, security, impartiality, or intended operation of this contest, including without limitation the operation of the contest website. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are late, illegible, generated by robotic programming, falsified, or tampered with in any way.

5.8 Sponsor and its respective affiliates, and agencies and its respective officers, directors, employees, agents or representatives shall assume no liability of any kind whatsoever in any cases in which their inability to act, results from an event or situation unforeseeable or beyond their control, including more particularly a strike, lock-out or any other labour dispute in its place of business or the location of any other relevant third party.

5.9 All personal information, such as name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address submitted with an entry, is collected solely for the purposes of administering this Contest and shall not be used for any other purpose without consent. By providing this information, all entrants consent to it being used for the stated purposes.

5.10 Entrants agree to abide by these Contest rules and by all decisions of Sponsor are final and binding with respect to all aspects of the Contest, including, without limitation, eligibility and/or disqualification of entries.

5.11 By entering this Contest, entrants release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its advertising and promotional agencies their affiliates and respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives (collectively the "Releasees") from any liability in connection with this Contest or, if declared a winner, the prize.
