Joannie Rochette is one of Canada's finest figure skaters. Her determination and discipline from a young age have proven that this rising star is ready for any challenge in the Figure Skating world, both nationally and internationally. Joannie is the reigning Canadian women's figure skating champion with five consecutive victories since 2005, In February, Joannie showed incredible strength after the sudden passing of her mother and went on to win a bronze medal at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. In addition, Joannie carried the flag at the Closing Ceremonies.
