Spring is a season of awakening, which means it’s time for you to find the magic of tidying up your place and your mindset! Often, we spend so much energy trying to organize the things we can’t control, instead of focusing on how we can de-clutter how we think about ourselves. Here are four methods to get you out of that winter funk and ready for spring!

Mind maps


Ever feel like you have too many thoughts floating around in your brain? Dreams and goals that you’ve talked about with your friends, but never put into action? Sounds like you could use a mind map!

A mind map is a diagram used to visually organize information so it’s a great way to help you create ideas to set yourself up for success. You can use words, pictures or anything you’d like to show what your plan is. Now that there is no more snow, there’s nothing in your way to keep you from starting!

Stretch


Did you know that the average person spends an average of 64 hours a week sitting – that’s nine hours a day! That’s why it’s so important to get up and stretch. Taking a few minutes to stretch with some co-workers during a busy day or after a long Netflix chill out session is very beneficial to the body and mind. It will release tension, increase blood flow and promote a clearer head.

Internal detox


Eat foods that recharge you versus ones that make your feel lethargic. Awakening your insides by adding fruit, green foods like barley, kale, spinach and leafy greens, garlic and green tea to your diet to help detox your body from the inside. A diet high in detox foods is a good way to maintain overall health.
